I know you can align yourself with the Persean League to stop the inspections but I just got free of them and felt good but now the AI inspections ramp up like no tomorrow. Is there a more permanent solution for this without involing the Persean League and also I dont want to blast the Hegemony to pieces.
As you can see the first one hasnt even arrived then the next is on my doorstep making me spend all those precious story points. Or is this "tax" expected when you are using AI cores for your colonies? So I just perma need to farm Ordos to keep up with story points if I wanna remain peaceful? I guess a fully upgrades High Command is expected at this point? I see that would help.

Glassing all their bases isn't a huge deal. You could always offload all you gamme cores to them to get your rep back up.

Blow up some of their ships (or other ships) near your colonies to push the event back.

Ye I get that, but why shouldnt I be able to make a permanent deal? You have options in this game for all the other colony harassments/crisis. In this case, there is none. Just endless inspection killing OR spending a buckload of storypoints and credits each time.
Wouldnt this also warrant a permanent solution?

Wait, what? So they eventually just give up? Or is this somehow linked to the threat mechanic, i.e. as you beat them up you get a bonus that equalizes with penalty from AI cores?

AFAIK now you can just permanently resolve the conflict with Hege, just like every other crisis, so they won't send inspections anymore.
