In nexerelin my brand new colonies almost always end up bombed into oblivion by main factions over and over(Thanks to random diplomatic events + everyone being a prick).

In vanilla i got along with everyone like a freaking carebear and it worked.
In nexerelin after getting bullied relentlessly i decided to sell bombs to pathers, made friends with pirates and remnants and invaded every god damn world i could easily get to and gave it to independents, the only faction that didn't screw me over.

Yeah in Nexerelin there's a tendency to end up fighting a lot in the Core Worlds.

It makes the game very different compared to Vanilla.

That's why I make sure my colonies are OUTSIDE the core, so I have plenty of time between a raid announcement and its arrival to decide whether to bomb the *** out of whoever's getting uppity or just let the salvage come to me.

Yeah, Nex is pretty fun.

When it comes to raids and war in Nex I usually am just like "Oh okay, free money!". Then I raid every world the enemy faction has and sell the loot on the black market or hoard it in a dedicated storage facility near the core. Nex really adds flavor to my runs and incentivizes me to us the ground war mechanics in ways I likely wouldn't have in a Vanilla run.
