As mentioned, derelict and support is just there so it's a monofleet (10 Gryphons for 200 DP just walks over a double Ordo though).
Drop both derelict and support, get 9-10 officered Gryphons with some support, power actually goes up as there is a player-piloted ship or monitors taking care of the only possible threat (Radiant or maybe Nova jumping in).
Squalls won't run out in any battle, an Onslaught or a quad HIL+autolance Paragon is exactly what's needed against the last few ships.

Don't bring 8 officers unless you have a good reason for it, +2 officers is only 1 skill point and not spending it with Gryphon spam is just doing it wrong.

+1 on not using derelicts
Recently brought 10 gryphons with no derelict operations / support doctrine and 8 glimmers into a quad ordo and it was fine -_-

Odd, I tried something very similar and the killing was slow and there was always a risk of one of the Gryphons getting caught and destroyed(because of their terrible tank)

Did you have the same weapon groups as OP?

That's cool(and kills my framerate) but in practice it makes them run out of Harpoons before the battle is over(i.e. annoyingly just as the Radiants show up) I guess System Expertise - which I didn't have - would take care of the issue though. Just putting Maulers on Gryphons definitely doesn't cut it.

[Edit] It seems AI is generally reluctant to use Missile Autoforge when in combat, which is most of the time.

You don't have enough harpoons because you don't have system expertise, and autoforge isn't used as it should be because you didn't link the groups.
The entire point of Gryphon autoforge being a multiplicative ammo boost.

I did link the groups(that's the screenshot) and I did get Systems Expertise afterwards(that's the edit comment)

Just wanted to give my +1 to this build. I replicated it and it definitely is as strong as OP's video shows. Easily smashes 3 Ordo +500xp battles repeatedly, although in my testing I found that on average two gryphons always end up being disabled due to the AI leaving the 'pack' and getting ganged on by enemies with no backup. I equipped Reinforced Bulkheads instead of ITU so recovering them is trivial.

Perfectly balanced, because who wants to field so many Gryphons. Also you have to link the missiles.

Yep, that is a kind of build to which you go the entire run and which is once set not going anywhere. Exactly the kind i would be testing. If only some deprivated enough individual would make a silly montage of this build to show how it would perform to various game threats

What I wanna know is how you have 75 million and all your assets at cycle 216!
