it doesnt seem to work anymore, i have it installed and in the fleet screen i can see both the number of ships and the deployment points, and my fleet is being penalized at 31 ships with a total of 250 deployment points
Any chance for an option to make this based off of combat ship DP? Like, for example, you can have as many civvy ships as you want (anything from cargo, fuel, or carriers, down to tugs or salvage ships, potentially even working with EHM's Logistics Overhaul now that the .97a hotfix'd version's out), but anything military starts to count against the fleet limit.
I would think that there'd need to be some limit to how many transport ships you take with you, beyond merely fuel costs, otherwise you'd head out to the rim with enough ships to strip mine them bare... possibly literally if you've got one of the mining mods.
Probably a silly question, but: is it right that the 'number of ships' in the fleet screen is just removed? I'm guessing the point is that you just compare the total DP of your fleet and compare it to the dp-max figure in the mod settings, right?
Does anyone know if this conflicts with Second in Command or other skill mods?I have this mod enabled but I'm still seeing the vanilla ship count display in my fleet and receiving penalties when my fleet is more than 30 ships. Given that this works by implementing a skill, I figured SIC might be a culprit?
