The superbase and starbase are surprisingly...small?  Not just because of the scaling, per pixel, it's smaller then the onslaught by it's looks.

Indeed, i agree on the point that you might want to get some one covering your back, so to say :)

Don't look at me, though, as i'm utterly useless on this kind of thing.

Maybe ask david about it? couldn't hurt, could it? :)

You don't know who david is? :o

It's the sprite designer and maker for Starfarer :)

Also, while i'm not going to pay 200£ for photoshop for you, i can recommend GIMP, since it's free and an exellent starting program. Photoshop is usually for pros or companies, since they can afford it.

The mines work best with a Vigilance frigate moving backwards at full speed (160 speed) and holding the launch button.  The mines stay perfectly still and detonate correctly.

Erm...it relies on the ship's speed.  That station has NO speed. ;D

Going to give you a spoiler of the next mission:

It'll involve both the CDF and the Sidus Dim corp. in an attempt to gain control over a strategic hub.  ;)

(Yes, that means I'm working on CDF ships :))
