Love what you did with the Marauder and Brigantine. I barely recognized them.

Coming back to this game every few years and seeing almost decade old designs I made in high school get used and upcycled is really wholesome.

repost from the same era in Spiral Arms, but it'd be awesome if this old bird could find a way into your mod someday- every time I come back I almost DO fire up the ship editor to remaster it myself but don't really have the time.



If not, no worries, enjoying your mod greatly either way  :)

[edit I'm now realizing I said this before in 2021 sans the request. lol. lmao. twice the praise I suppose.]

We seem to have a linux compatibility problem - BSC_Stobo.png is preventing the game from launching because it is searching for BSC_stobo instead. The linux file system is case sensitive so this fails to launch. Changing the case to the lower case version fixes this issue.

I highly recommend to keep file names to lower case only otherwise you are one typo away from problems for Linux users.

Nothing wrong with twice the praise haha. The Marauder and Brigantine have been heavily redrawn since their iterations back in 2021 but I've always kept the layout and shape the same as your spiral arms ones because I always thought they were cool. Thank you though.

I'm pretty sure that ship you posted is being used in High Tech Expansion iirc.

Hello BigBeans. Love the mod.

How would I go about modifying the Maraka (XIV) so that the large weapon is ballistic instead of composite? I want to make full use of the balistic rangefinder hullmod on this super ship. Thank you.

Also Chrysaor's default builds include a misspelling - 'Assualt' instead of 'Assault'.

Thanks for picking that up I'll try and remember to fix that.

That's nice to hear! I'm running a carrier build (the Carnyx is HILARIOUSLY annoying to fight with wasp spam so I'm hoping to bring some to complement my Astral flagship once I get a colony up and running) and your ships are actually forming a pretty big chunk of my 'fighting' strength that gets into gunfights. You have a lot of center-line mount ships I really like to see that function well in AI hands.

I always give my ships a little test to make sure they aren't super jank in AI hands. If they are I usually adjust mounts.

How does everyone feel about the Gallivanter? The omen was my go to frigate for exploration but its load out was very limited so it'd just be an expensive distraction that was kinda unfun in combat so i wanted to mix it up but the galli just constantly falls flat for me. I love the explorer destroyer i use them all the time, very good weapon slots and lots of potential to build around.

I feel the problem with the galli is its fixed forward mounts makes it get into dangerous situations where the omens turret mounts means its much more likely to flee away from threats. I always prefer turrets over fixed mounts though so i might be biased.
