Minor window focus bug
« on: May 09, 2012, 09:26:37 AM »

I've noticed that occasionally when i alt tab from the game to another window or just click out of it, im unable to refocus the window (as in, play/use/interface-with starfarer) using traditional methods such as clicking the actual window or using the task bar. The only way to refocus is to go into the task manager and use the "switch to task" button on starfarer. This can happen from both full screen and windowed mode.

I figured out the cause after a bit, if you have the steam overlay up on the game and you alt tab out, you cant get back in without using the task manager. Not sure why that is or if its fixable.

Weird - thank you for letting me know. Not sure there's all that much I can do about it, but will definitely keep this in mind.

Just to point out, this seems to be system-agnostic: I'm running Arch Linux with the Enlightenment DR17 desktop environment, and have a similar problem*.

*Though without digging into it, they could be completely different under the hood.
