Really interested in using the mod but im not sure how to install it, most other mods I just extract and put in the mods folder but this one is different. Would appreciate help.

I have now added install instructions at the bottom :D
But as I said in discord, all ye need is Winrar or 7-zip.

Real nice.
Suggestion:
Maybe make a hullmod that allows domain drones to be piloted (adds crew capacity and such in exchange for +50% supply cost)

I encountered a small issue when running the mod on a linux computer. The hullmod file hull_mods.csv is referencing DomIntegratedTargetingUnit and failing to find it because the the file is domIntegratedTargetingUnit.java which sets off the case sensitivity of linux systems.

Do you think there will be a standalone version of the mothership/survey ship change that gives them the ability of spawnign fleets without the stat changes to all of the drones?

No can do. As far as I am aware the ability to assign officers to Automated/non-Automated ships is hard coded.

You can go into my mod, go into "data" and delete the "hulls" folder to revert all vanilla drone changes I have done.

for the campaigner and the drone dram, would it be possible to do some sort of trickery to make the derelict AI deploy them alongside the rest of the ships, or make them run away like regular supply ships?

i'll blow up all the combat ships, then have to spend a couple minutes hunting down the newly deployed supply train.

I have posted a update that should make the AI send their civilian derelict ships alongside the combat ships :D
I did this by changing the base variants to include Militarised Subsystems. Though only newly generated derelict fleets may benefit from this.

Patch Notes for 25/03/2023, might be save-compatible:
Modified Campaigner, increasing its supply and fuel usage.
Changed a file name to help Linux users.
Derelict fleet AI civilian ships have been given "Militarised Subsystems" (players can remove this from salvaged ships as it is not built-in) and some civilian ship variants have received a better armament, this should make them enter battle alongside the rest of their combat ships. Rather than arriving once they are destroyed.

Just heard that adding Militarised Subsystems to the AI ships may not make the AI deploy them alongside the rest of their derelict forces sadly.

Changelog:
Minotaur has lost "Missile Autoforge" hullmod and instead has gotten it as a Ship System. Minotaurs variants have also been updated.
Ships across the board have worse CR, consume more fuel and cost more to deploy. Their fleet points have also been improved (this is for AI battles).\
Converted Atlas ship has received some buffs
