Galatia academy mission text bug

When tasked with salvaging tech from a ship by the academy the player has to chase down an independent fleet, prompting some dialogue options. One of these options involves the use of a story point to get the tech without paying/fighting.

However, after the exchange between the player and the captain of the independent fleet, the text displayed says you payed them:
