I think your portraits are great regardless of the anime style! There are a lot of design choices in each portrait and I think it shows well when considering they're all 128px.

Might I recommend watching Sinix Design on YT? He's got some excellent painterly tutorials on anatomy whilst being wacky with his shapes and proportions and also pretty entertaining.
