So today I downloaded the newest update to play some Starsector after a while and after playing a bit I noticed I have more XP than I need to lvl up to lvl 11 but nothing happens. The XP bar is fully green and it says I have 1.3+ mil XP while I need 1.2. Any ideas how to fix that?

From my experience with a 0.95 save I still use for testing purposes: After gaining any XP it should recalculate everything and level you up accordingly.

If you already did gain XP then I'm not sure what's wrong, hm.

Wait..."fully green"? Are you confusing bonus XP with real XP? The green bar shows bonus XP and gives you doubled XP gain, up to the amount of bonus XP you have. But bonus XP doesn't count as real xp for leveling purposes.

Yeah, I haven't played in a year so I got the colours mixed up. Regardless, it says this:



Does the "-" mean I am in the negative or something? Because apart from that I just can't think of anything else.

Negative XP, that's weird... The level variable and the total xp variable has probably desynced from some rebalance patch since last time you played. Kind of off-putting, playing with a glitched character i suppose. If it doesn't correct by itself, I would just use the addxp command from the console commands mod. (requres lazylib too btw.)

The exp per level was increased, you're still in debt (you wouldn't of reached level 10 yet on a fresh save).

With 2,502,859 xp more, you should hit level 11.
