Suitable Star Systems 1.1.0



Compatibility:
Compatible with most mods
Can be removed or disabled on existing saves
Only works on new saves



A simple mod that I privately used for most of my playthroughs and went with releasing it as a simple utility mod. This mod is for people who are tired of looking for that "perfect" system. The mod adds 3 star systems to different constellations around the core worlds with varying difficulty that is optimized for colonization.

The location and star system names are somewhat procedural so you'd still need to explore, same goes for planet names. The star systems also include somewhat procedural loot or scavenge opportunities that scales with the difficulty of the system. Each system has its unique entity and should be close enough to each other(if lucky) to use there benefits.

If you have any suggestions or even problems with the mod just comment them.

  • Each star system has 5 planets that should allow you to install most vanilla special items including modded special items (I hope)
  • Each system has 2 remnant stations and each has an easy, hard, insane difficulty. It pretty much just increases the fleet size and respawn rate of remnant fleets
  • the first system which should spawn closest to the core worlds has cryosleeper as its unique entity
  • the second system should spawn near the first and includes an inactive gate
  • the third system should also spawn near the first system and includes a coronal tap
  • Note that the distance between this systems may vary but should be close to each other to allow their benefits if lucky
  • Each system spawns after the sector is generated so don't worry about having less vanilla star systems spawning

Short update, after doing 2 full modded playthroughs I needed to add a frozen world for ind.evo. Since the supercomp needs that very cold condition for additional benefits on income.

Adds a frozen world for each system, thats it. TY.
