Built-in hullmod image hiding
« on: September 16, 2022, 07:06:36 AM »

With the help of commands, I built-in a lot of hullmods into a ship, much more than is possible in fair game in vanilla. This caused a ton of green lines (one for each hullmod), which obstruct the view in the fleet view and during battles. How can I hide them, restrict them or make them thinner?

Make a mini-mod that has a custom .skin of the Paragon with all those hullmods built-in instead of s-mods. Then scuttle that S-Paragon and give yourself your special Paragon.

Although this would work, I would like a more universal solution. For example, changing that green hullmod texture to more thin or entirely transparent, or changing the amount being shown to some lesser number.

These green lines definitely have a texture file somewhere.
Sadly, I didn't find it in the game files — it must be transparent in there. If it had been found, it would ease things a bit, if not entirely solve them.
