Low VRAM even though I've got plenty.

Sorry if this is formatted strangely first time here for tech advise, usually the guide sets me straight.

So for some odd reason the game keeps giving me a warning for low VRAM even though my GPU has 16 gigs ( Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070 ), now tbh I'm not too great with computers so I had to look that up online to find that number. Anyway it usually doesn't cause anything other then some choppiness and slow down even with a ton of mods, but I've had a few saves get borked lately, and would like to fix it.

The game isn't reading your VRAM for some reason?

Are you confident you don't have any other GPU or iGPU inside that rig of yours?

But then again Nvidia Geforce RTX 3070  has 8 GB VRAM?

I do have integrated Radeon, could it be trying to use that over my 3070?

That could be the issue, yeah if Radeon has a much lower VRAM

Ayyy that was it, so windows 11 just had to go to settings, display, graphics, then "add an app" did Starsector.exe and java.exe (the one in the bin folder)

Just in case anyone else has the issue :) Thanks for the help boss!

You dont know how much I wanna thank you for that information.
Been playing on a Laptop (and win11) for a while now and started to get really anoyed by the terrible performance on a really decent Laptop.

where do i find the Java.exe? no idea what the bin folder even is

Ive randomly started getting this issue again, just check my display settings and both programs are still on the list of apps. dont know how to fix this
