I am playing with Arma Armature, Tahlan (that has Rosenritter mechs) and Diable.

ignoring Diable a bit (their mechs don't play well with other mods because of wanzer gantry rules), what mod has the coolest carriers to stuff full of mechs?


Some properties if possible: if possible they should support "WINGCOM" hullmod. Their burn speed need to be able to reach 8 at least (with hullmods if needed), and should have a good efficiency in deployment points cost regarding number of fighters (for example: 40dp to have 2 fighter slots is not that useful...)

I think you already are using most of the mech carriers available. There's that one Gundam mod as well but I've never tried it so idk how good it is.

Watching a frost mech cut a line across a whole battleship is simply sublime

I didn't ask what mod has the mechs (although what mod has the "frost" ?)

I asked what mod has carriers that play well with mechs.

One candidate I found so far is MVS.

The frost comes from the Diable Avionics mod. It has mechs and carrier ships from which to use mechs. Although frankly I love mixing and matching by having an Astral deploy my mechs so they can be teleported away when needed. And cheap and cheerful drovers are never to be underestimated.

Not sure what mod has the best carrier ships though. Outer Rim Alliance has a big meaty carrier, but Diable Avionics has mech perks I think that give some advantage to friendly mechs which can be very effective.

The problem of Diable Avionics is that the "Wanzer Gantry" is needed to use Diable mechs effectively, and if you put other mechs alongside them, the hullmod shafts you

One of my dreams is have a carrier full of Wanzers and "Silverbluts" whatever was the name of Rosenritter mechs.

The other thing is Diable behaviour is not a behaviour I like roleplaying, and I like roleplaying so I tend to prefer other factions that are often enemy of Diable.

I have lot of hope the "ARC" mod will be finished one day (it is a mod based off diable, the background story is that ARC is at war with Diable and use their tech against them, they have some cool diable ships painted black and with shaders to make them glow orange when they are firing).
