Transponder off factions

Just Wanted to figure out which modded in factions don't require you to have your transponder off. The only one I've found is the rust belt from prv star works and I'd rather not manually install every faction mod in existence. Also why don't mod authors list this on the mod page or a faq :'(.

Better question is why does vanilla not show it.

I don't have a mod but you can search for "allowsTransponderOffTrade" in all of the *.faction files to see if a faction allows you to fly in dark. A value of "true" means they don't mind if you turn off your transponder.

That is actually a very good question SafariJohn. How do we know exactly what they aren't cool with you carrying but not their policy on transponder usage? Never thought about it until you pointed it out. Thanks nekoworkshop that crops out having to actually go in game to figure it out. Still, anyone have a list or can name a few mods where we can fly transponder off? Or am I doomed to yohoho a pirate/panther's life for me (as the other factions annoy me cuz I forgot to press a button twice)?

In case you didn't know, free ports allow transponder-off trade and don't harass with patrols even if the faction normally doesn't allow free trade. The same faction can have some systems where you are allowed to fly and trade without turning on the transponder, and some systems where you are forced to identify yourself.
