Speaking of drones...

The Retourschip, the big Fuel Tanker, has two empty fighter slots with the default autofit having borers in them, but AFAIK you can't buy Borers and the autofit doesn't place anything in their place, why?

I know I can manually place something there instead, but this bothers me.

Hello again Shinr, I will try to help but I am a bit confused. The Standard variant for the Retourschip is equipped with a Tender and a Mizzen which both have the tag of support0. I just checked to make sure the variant goal was set to true and it is. I went in game and spawned an empty one in my current fleet and made sure I had some drones in my cargo that also had support 0, in this case mining drones, and when I autofit the 2 mining drones were in the slots.

I am unsure where borer drones come into play but the funny thing about Borer drones is they have no category tag in the vanilla wing_data, just nodrop, nosell, low. So in essense, as far as I know, the Borer would never be picked as an autofit wing unless the ship in question has them set as their variant goal and, as I state earlier, that is not the case for the Retourschip.

Gah here I go again with the TLDR, sorry about that. ;) However, I am committed to correcting any issues with my mods so any clarity you could provide is key for me to properly help.

It is now in 2.7, it definitely wasn't in 2.6 and earlier.

Sorry for late reply.

Hello back at ya!
I am unsure what you are asking? That system will show up in the same location each new game as long as it is not random core worlds generation. I hope that is the answer you were looking for, if not please clarify.

Sorry for being a bit unspecific. I was trying to relocate the system with the starmaps.json file but failed miserably, and i suspect you set the exact location with script instead of the starmap.json file

Ah ok thank you for the follow up, clarity is key to understanding to offer proper help. If you navigate to the mod folder then data\scripts\world\systems\ you will find a file named CFT_pengersick.java - Open it with an editor that can handle java script, notepad++ is free if you do not have one, and navigate to line 73 which is system.getLocation().set(5000, 7500); and change those coordinates to wherever you would rather have them spawn. You would have to do this before a new game is started as the sector populates the systems at new game generation.

Out of curiousity, why would you want to change the location?

Well ... i am converting the Starsector world into a Battletech world, and want to have a part as inner spheres (that would be the core) and periphery (which would be a good bit away from the core). I was considering this faction to be changed to the Magistracy of Canopus and in the Periphery. For now i changed the plan and will look for other factions to move to the outside.

Thanks for your help
