This is adapted from Trylobot's Starsector Editor with his permission.

Some people among modders use Macs to do their modding, and as the ship editor only works on Windows it can't be used.

But Wine does work, so I made a Wineskin version, for people to use as they either:

1) Don't know how to do it themselves.
2) Too Lazy/busy to do it themselves.

The whole program works perfectly, with the icon working too.

It is the Latest version (2.6.1) as of 19/08/13 or 08/19/13 if your American.

Neat.  I keep thinking I should just write my own ship editor in java, but using this would certainly be simpler.

I'm kind of amazed the link is still up.

If you want to create your own, here's how:
1. Download WineBottler - get the dev branch
2. Open it up, go to 'Advanced'.
3. Set it up like this:

4. Hit 'Install', and wait for it to build.

I've managed to make two pretty substantial faction mods with it, so I can verify that it works.

That's why I told you to set it up *exactly* like the screenshot. Settings matter.

You're free to ignore my help, of course. But I know this works - it worked for me, and at least one other person I helped set it up with those settings.
