I've just listened to the title screen track thus far (over and over) but it's very very well done, very fitting for the game.  Makes me think of Terminator 2: Judgement day, and a theme that evokes such memories is certainly fitting for the bleak lore of Starfarer.  Will post more impressions as I hear more tunes (if there are any more at this point, I don't know) but the title track is brilliantly fitting.  Well done composer, you nailed it.

What's probably next on the line is a title track for the main menu and some new UI sound effects. Probably!

BTW this first Starfarer music track totally wrecked my CPU and RAM requirements because of the insane channel count, so I've just ordered a new PC so I can use even more layers of sound on future pieces. More scifi-orchestra warmness inbound!

There will be a soundtrack thingy on Bandcamp, this is certain. But I guess it will happen when the game is ready, so not next week or anything. If it'd be possible to release an album's songs piece-by-piece on BC we might consider that, but so far I haven't had the time to delve into the options in detail, so I don't really know if that's smart or doable...

Though I'd also like to hear some tribal/war drum inspired tracks; such tracks are awesome for space battles.

Absolutely awesome. I'm keeping an instance of the game open while I update UC. The best thing is that it's an ambient piece, it sets the atmosphere greatly.

There are elements of the music that remind me very strongly of the ME1 music... only its darker and also more ambient. Something about the reverb on the low notes in one section...
