Coolest moves you've seen the AI do?

Started playing Starsector about a month ago, what are some of the unexpected things you've seen the AI do?

1 - There's a Wolf that I kept in late game, poor ship keeps getting destroyed after the initial objective point capturing so I generally put it on escort duty nowadays.  The Astral it was escorting was under attack from some bombers, and the Wolf phase shifted itself into the way of some bombers, knocking them off course and even destroying one.

2 - I noticed when some ships are venting they wiggle to spread the damage from an incoming volley across an area instead of risking a hull breach in one area.

An enemy onslaught was just about to destroy my astral. My odyssey came from the side with double boosts, with the last boost hitting the onslaught on the side, knocking into the onslaught just as it activated its burn drive to finish the astral. The onslaught went tumbling across the map at insane speeds.

Consistently providing me with an extra shield when I over extend, that's pretty cool of them
