So I've gathered a bunch of pngs and photos I cut out cuz I am a professional photo editor and I was trying to see if I can get somebody to help me with the aspect of putting it in a folder and assigning the genders properly if anybody is willing to help or can help that would be wonderful I'm going to do all the work of putting the photos in their proper resolution and also cropping them if they need it!!! Please let me know if any of you are down to help we need  better danker massive portrait pack friends!

It's pretty simple.  There is only one file that defines the mod, and then you have the .faction files for each faction.  Most portrait packs just copy/paste the same .faction contents for each contents.

For instance, grab Interesting Portrait Pack and modify the mod_info.json with your new mod's details.  Note that the gameVersion item should be updated to the current version.  As it gets out of date, the game won't be permitted to run.

Then place the portraits in "Interesting Portraits Pack\graphics\portraits".

Now look at the data\world\factions folder.  Most modders give the same portraits to all factions, but in Interesting Portraits Pack, the contents are tailored to the faction.  You can make your own .faction files, you just need to follow the format in the file.

In the end, you change the names to match your new portrait pack, and you're done.
