The "coldness" of Garnir, Olinadu, Ilm
« on: September 30, 2021, 01:57:36 PM »

So how cold are these 3 cryovolcanic planets really or.. are they really cryovolcanic...?

In condition_gen_data.csv, it is marked that all cryovolcanic planets are extremely cold and some of the cryovolcanic worlds from the Core Worlds do have an extreme cold. However, these 3... bear something to be less cold. There's not really any description that makes evident of any terraformed technology making it less cold on these planets.

So they could use a planetary conversion to a more appropriate planet type or have them be extremely cold.

Edit: Let's also talk about the tectonic activities of Garnir. Cryovolcanic world seems to have a lot of them and Garnir and Olinadu have nothing while Ilm has them. Tectonic activities on Garnir would promote their usual abundant resource conditions as well.

Edit2: Fikenhild seems to have no organics at all despite water worlds and Volturn.. unusually having a lot of them, but then again they are on the 5 arcologies so that's understandably why they don't have them at least their lack of mining industry would prove that but their organic condition should exist.
