Pretty upset, love the crap out of these game but stopped playing for a year, recently showed it to 2 friends and got them to buy the game. BUT now I try to load up a fresh game with a few mods all listed to be working currently and game CTD on start. Have literally 0 clue why, help would be appreciated. I'm dumb as bricks, but it literally looks like my game can't load any of the mods including the lib mods. I get a similar error/crash when I just have the  "lw_lazylib", "MagicLib", this is on a brand new PC but I'm 99% sure all drivers/etc are up-to-date and have been using the PC fine for months without issue in any applications.

Tried adding a pastebin and also tried attaching the .log file, pastebin was too large, and adding an attached file keeps deleting my thread/post.  Rough day.

LazyLib alone returns this error.

Looks like it's straight up failing to load mod classes.
I'd start by reinstalling Starsector.

(Random idea: Could the mods have been mis-installed such that the jar files aren't in the right place? If a reinstall doesn't work, post a screenshot of the mods/LazyLib/ and the mods/LazyLib/jars/ folders.)

Thank you!, Reinstalled twice and changed install location. I was installing into the root folder of one of my spare drives, possible issue? After re-installing a second time on main disk C working now looks like no issues.

i had the same problem running the game whit mods under andeavor os the mods didnt work whit a case sensitive file system so i bought a smal ssd and formated it to exfat wich is non case sensitive plunked my install there and it crashed constantly then i created a folder Games and put the Starsector folder in there and it magicaly worked ....weirdest thing ever starsector does not want to be on the drive root
