Basically

Ammo Puncher: +100% burst shot to weapon
(AKA weapon gets a second volley off as soon as the first one is out the barrel, obviously doubles flux generate by doubling ammo fired, on full auto weapons: double fire rate)

Autoloader:-50% refire delay (obviously ups flux per second)

Excessively powerful. Generally you get more damage just by adding more powerful weapons.

That said, a mod that doubles burst size and cool down might be interesting.

Yeah, I don't see any reason why these hullmods wouldn't immediately become mandatory for everything with guns, unless they cost unreasonably high amount of OP. Otherwise, almost free damage bonus.

But yes, a mod that doubles burst size and also a cooldown is worth considering.

Because its going to shred your Flux Dissipation like its going out of style

Meaning you HAVE to put this on ships with escorts so you can vent often, that kind of mod would make a Conquest redline its flux in seconds flat

The main benefit to that is building a ship that willingly uses smaller weapons than it can mount, sure you lose damage per shot but you double the fire rate, meaning a "low caliber" build becomes capable of rivaling a "high caliber" build in DPS if not range

What is the OP cost?  It would probably be cheaper to get less guns and these proposed hullmods than it is to get the expected number of guns without them.

Probably would make burst PD very powerful, probably a better deal than Expanded Magazines.

Doubling ROF is basically giving two copies of every weapon for the price of one. If nothing else, you just use half as many weapons, leave a bunch of slots empty, and save a ton of OP. Not even close to balanced. Also would be absurdly strong on safety overrides ships.
