Ship movement error
« on: August 02, 2021, 07:38:33 PM »

Hi everyone,

I'm sure this is covered elsewhere but couldnt find it.

Even with agressive/reckless officers and having full assault turned on my ships just tip-toe around in the back of the fight until they get swarmed by fighters and frigates and picked off.

how can i fix this?

Thanks in advance!!!

I have the same problem.
I spent a ton of cash on buying two big ships so I can destroy a space station and all they do is just stay behind and refuse to engage the enemy.

I am still new to the game, there may be a reason for it.
Please, help, guys.

Have you tried giving them orders?

Hey there you two, welcome to the forum!

Unfortunately, it's hard to say what's going on without more details. Maybe the loadout of your ships limits their tactical options, maybe the fights you pick are just too difficult, maybe the ships' behavior makes sense as they would get destroyed more quickly otherwise, but is more careful than you would like, maybe you encountered a bug. A video of the specific situation would help a lot to understand your individual problems.
