Something I encountered today. A shielded cargo bug?
« on: July 25, 2021, 05:13:03 AM »

Ok we all know how shielded cargo works..but today I have found a way that it does not work at all.
The case is when you pick a smuggling mission from a criminal. Yes it is guaranteed to find your things if you do not own shielded cargo holds,I can fully understand it because they know the smuggling operation and I find it very realistic. But when you own for example like I did 800 shielded cargo holds for 28 harvested organs and they find it..well... Looks for obvious reasons like a bug to me .

Hmm - there's always an element of randomness to whether they find stuff in shielded holds or not, so this looks like just a case of that happening. It's also not guaranteed to find it if you don't have cargo holds; the smuggling mission has no direct interaction with the chance of a cargo inspection actually finding something.
