Modded save game does not load anymore

I recently tried reloading a save file i had been playing on recently.
Since today however i keep getting an error when trying to load it that throws me back to the main menu.
I have not changed or updated any mods and i was able to load and play the save file just fine a few days ago.

Mods i use:
- Nexerelin 0.10.2b
- LazyLib 2.6
- MagicLib 2.6
- Arsenal Expansion 1.5.4a
- Better colonies 1.63
- Beyond the sector 1.0.0
- Industrial.Evolution 2.2.f
- Starship Legends 1.5.3
- Terraforming and Station Construction 7.1.3
- Simple Player Faction Flags 1.0
- Another Portrait Pack 1.4.0

Measures I have taken:
- Increased the ram in vmprams to 4096
- Nothing else since im not really good with coding in general... sorry :-:

Open the save's campaign.xml (use Notepad++ or similar) and go to line 282908. There's an invalid text character somewhere there. Remove it.

(Might be good to check the line and find out which ship is having the invalid character)

Sooo.... I tried finding the incorrect characters and deleting them.
I also did find a bunch of null values in a row behind the line:
282908: <ls cl="Pl

So i did delete the null values and put in a planet id that seemed to fit, which however did not work.
So what i ended up doing was delete every line in campaign.xml and just copy and paste the script from campaign.xml.bak into the actual safe file.
I dont know how that affects my save but it somehow worked out and i SEEM to have everything.

I still thank you for the reply and the thought you put into my problem though, i really appreciate it ^^
