Weapon On-hit sounds .proj

Is there A method to add in sounds when a projectile hits shields/armor? Because at the moment, the sound effect used is limited to the type of damage the weapon currently deliver.

Something kinda like idk...

   "damageSoundShield":"Thunder"
   "damageSoundArmor":"grinding"
        "damageSoundHull":"hotproblems"

somewhere in the .proj file cause there are sounds for weapon firings, but not for the projectiles themselves.

If you don't take away the Heavy Blaster's sound effects, fine.

There isn't - like you noted, right now it's just based on damage type.

I'll keep it in mind, though - but, as usual, no promises :)

Well, I can probably live with the sound effects, but I just need it to somewhat, scale to the damage being done, since 10k dmg kinetic mine will sound the same as a autocannon when hitting shields, but bah I have no idea how it works :D

quite possibly, as a hull-breach would likely let the captain do what he always wanted to do in his last moments, :D
