Clarification first: using Nexerelin, TASC, Diable Avioniks, Roider Union and a few more Faction/Weapon/Ship Mods.

Is there an Option (Vanilla, Nexerelin or otherwise) to engage more in Diplomacy, like actively seeking an Alliance with [X] and starting a Vote for declaring war etc. against [X]?

If this Option already exists I might have not seen it yet since I'm fairly new. If there is a Mod for that I'd be grateful for suggestions.

You can request to join an alliance by talking to the station commander of an alliance member's planet.
Any hostilities, caused by you or them, will drag the rest of the alliance to a vote.

Commissions mean that your commissioning faction handles diplomacy.

I don´t get it.
My game says, that I can join an alliance with the Persian League and Tri Tachion but I have spoken to many station commanders of both factions, aswell as every other damn person on their planets, and they dont give me that option. I even built Senats, Embassys and what not if perhaps that triggers the option. Was the option for alliances removed from the mod?

I also have the Nexerelin Mod.

You don't join alliances by talking to station commanders, I believe when you reach the station option #6 is something like "special actions" and you find it in there.

I also tried that. I have:
1. Prisoner actions
2. Faction directory
3. Request a fleet
4. Take temporary controll of autonomous colonies
5. Back

Under the directory I only get Infos about the Factions but can´t really do anything and the rest doesnt fit. Also tried different planets.

Okay, I found my mistake. I was in commission with the persean league and that is why I couldnt join the alliance. I did not know that but at the same time I feel dumb xD
