Is there some mechanic for bleeding independant rep?
« on: May 28, 2021, 02:40:54 PM »

I noticed my rep with independents keeps dropping below 9. ive done a ton of trades and given em cores and such, and it seems i keep getting a rep boost back to that same 9 over and over. am i missing something? havent ever attacked one or failed any missions, so no idea where my rep may have gone.

Are you using any mods? Otherwise Independent rep shouldn't ever go down unless you actively attack them or fail a mission, since they don't send colony expeditions or get involved in any faction wars.

i amrunning mods, but dont think any do that. though i DO think i figured it out, i had one of those 'produce x at colony' missions with them, and pirates interrupted my supply chain, so wasnt meeting conditions for awhile. assuming failing to meet conditions of an ongoing contract causes continuous rep hits i think i have my answer.
