[Mod Suggestion] More weapon filters

Good morning fellow perseans. I'll get straight to the point, often when you have a game running with multiple faction mods, the endgame can get full of weapons to choose from in your list and this can result in endless downscrolling just to get to the weapon you are looking for and by default the only filter options you have are ballistics, energy and missiles.
To solve this allegedly simple problem, wouldn't it be better to have the ability to filter out weapons, not only by type but by role as well? in my game the list got so large that i just fell on good-old trusty weapons i've been using since game start.

As a sidenote, the ability to sort weapons based on other stats such as Damage, Damage per second, Range,Flux per Second and Flux per Damage would be very useful for weapon selection on large mod collections.

To summarize:
  • Add the option to filter weapons by role according to what's available;
  • Add alternate sorting logic for Damage,DPS, Range, Flux per Second and Flux per damage.

Unfortunately this kinda stuff is something only Alex can do (afaik), modders don't have access to most of the UI, this'll probably be better for suggestions

As an aside, some of those are probably too specific - I'd say that range & efficiency (maybe also damage / shot?) are the main details that weapons really need to be filtered by & they could (hopefully) be done w/ sliders that let you set a range of values to filter between

filter sliders would be amazing!
