Hello,

I have a question - does the 25% bonus applies before or after the doubling of the flux dissipation by venting? So if i have a base flux dissipation of a 100 and RFC hullmod, the final flux dissipation while venting will be 225 or 250? Googling the topic did not bring any answers.

A good way to test it would be to do an all caps, no vent build on a ship with very bad vents but lots of capacity, only install that mod, max out flux, then see how long it takes to go from full flux to 0 flux. I don't have a good stopwatch or I could take a shot at it.

No RFC:

100 Flux/sec base

43.14 seconds
Approximate vent speed: 191.2 flux/second

41.77 seconds
Approximate vent speed: 197.5 flux/second

RFC:

8250 Flux
100 Flux/sec base

33.28 seconds
Approximate vent speed: 247.9 flux/second

33.27 seconds
Approximate vent speed: 247.9 flux/second

So with a base dissipation of 100 and RFC, it would be 250 flux/second while venting.

Oh, somebody actually made the test, thank you kind stranger! I, to be honest, am too lazy to test that out myself, glad somebody did it

I think the tooltip should be changed then, shound be "venting flux dissipation bonus multiplies by 2.5 instead of the regular 2" instead of the obscure 25%

Agreed.  A tooltip update is the most cost-effective quality of life change there is.  Also, thanks to Wei for some testing as well.
