Wanting to try out this mod but I get this error when I try to boot:

Fatal: DIRECTORY Blah Blah data\weapons\proj\mm_miniflakpd_shot.proj) a JSONObject text must begin with a '{' at 1 [character 2 line 1]

I don't have a way to edit a .PROJ file that I know of (I am not particularly competent at this stuff lol) so would love advice on how to fix.

I don't have the same plroblem. Could you try clean re-install of the mod by removing the old folder first? And are you loading the mod on the new game or the old save?

Loving the mod! Adds what I wanted for kinetic weapons that I felt was missing in vanilla (Shell Guns)

If you take some request would love to see more destroyers from ww2 spaced up ;3, but otherwise hope this get maintained even when the game does get to full release

Odd, completely fresh install of StarSector itself and the mod. I might try reinstall StarSector and see if that fixes anything. I've reset the mod twice, and have no active saves. The game itself wont launch with that error msg.

Thanks for the kind word! I plan to maintain it as long as I can do as it doesn't require much. But adding new contents will be slow. My current plan is to keep updating existing sprite. The next ones are Susanowo and Kurao. And add more specialized varient for pirate. If you have any other ideas, let me know.  ;D ;D ;D

Fixed it! Issue was on my end - I used an online file extractor since I didn't have WINRAR installed at the time, it looks like it was fairly terrible since it wasn't properly extracting files under 1 KB. I put WINRAR in and extracted and ran it no problem. I should be all good, appreciate the help!

Just to add, the 1.4.4 also works with 0.97. You just have to change the game version in mod_info file.

Just wanted to say I've been loving this mod super fun. Hope it becomes a faction eventually. Lowkey I don't care they are overpowered the power fantasy is like half the charm when the ships and weapons can be so hard to get. Now I don't want you to nerf them but if you care as the author about balance I'll give you one example that stands out, the ryuji cannons I think they're called: have a bout a third more damage and comparable flux to basically the same cannons that the Mayasuran faction mods top tier ship gets and those are built in. Also the ship ballistic feeder abilities added to that makes them really stand out. Which I mean... I love but I mean anything vanilla I just thrash.. those poor poor domain fleets. If anyone is looking for an anti domain faction this is your faction! Armor means nothinggggg against these high caliber shells! High tech definitely is the most competitive against these ships in my experience.

Honestly my biggest criticism is I want the ryujis cannon sound to be much meatier. Needs more bass or at least to sound more like real cannons in my opinion. I want to feel it in my bones when those babies fire!

Also if you ever feel the need to have an English speaker read over and suggest fixes or corrections to text or descriptions please feel free to hit me up and I'll do my best to help out!
