Eliminate command doesn't seem to work as described, with Hammerhead staying at a distance in spite of high flux status of enemy Venture.
Seemed to continue at a distance (>1k units) regardless of the number of eliminate commands / etc. (used console commands to give command points out of frustration)
Literally pushing the Hammerhead won the battle thereafter

It could be due to the unconventional loadout that I'm running on the Hammerhead, but well, it is the tutorial and you aren't exactly in a position to give the AI ideal loadouts to engage with.

Thanks! Hm, the save doesn't have the fleet with the Venture in it. (Also, it's running with mods - at least Combat Analytics that I could see. It helps to know whether it's running with mods ahead of time.)

What I think is going on here is the Hammerhead is just shy about the stream of rockets coming from the Venture. The AI has a tendency to over-estimate the danger of incoming missiles; Annihilator Pods like the ones on the Venture really cause it trouble closing in. It's on my "to look at" list.

Right, forgot to mention mods! Didn't think they'd affect the combat sandbox (no new weapons/ships/etc.)
Mods: Console Commands, Detailed Combat Results (Combat Analytics), Neutrino Detector Mk II, SpeedUp and Transfer all Items
(and of course Lazylib)
