Author Topic: Game crash when try to receive a custom ship order in colony  (Read 99 times)

Hi, I am new here and I don't know this is the right place to put it. but here I go

so I use "custom production" to order few ships to my colony that has commerce(Open market).
it was frigates and destroyers. and design was multi-Factions (SCY, HTE, DIABLEAVIONICS, etc...)
when I try to get my ships my game crash. so my problem begins.

I was able to narrow down the how game crash: click storage and tap the (take) OR tap a (buy) when open market and click the storage.
Now I need to know why. got the "fatal: null" message. of course, I check the starsector.log but I have 3 of them? what?

so I need to read 3 of them. but it is literally tons and tons of letters that I can't make sense of, and it's so many and long my Wordpad lag when try to Scroll fast or slow...
but I DID Stares word from the back 10%~20% or so EACH in ten or more minutes at painful speed and nothing useful comes out."ok that's it. Searchword it is"

(error)... something came out but some of them are console command errors like ([Thread-3] INFO  org.lazywizard.console.Console  - Error: could not find entity with name '<Huma>'!)
and I just keep finding ferror, terror constellation... nothing useful

(fatal)... got something... [SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure] but I see [SSLHandshakeException] line every time when booting up the game since I install Nexerelin mod. and I had no problem play the game with it.

(report)... A lot of it was in-game report, and Contact report or something...

(crash)... one Repeated line. [data\variants\boss\ms_boss_mimir_crash.variant] I guess ship variant?

(issue)...nope, literally nothing.

so I got nothing to work with but I had one idea.
go back to the game and do a small experiment: I order the same ships at the other colony that doesn't have commerce. = got my ships with no problem "just as I expected"

now build the commerce and same order...= got my ships with no problem. "...OK"

shut down commerce at my first colony, and try to get my ships = GAME CRASH "Why did I think it's working"

use a console command to set colony market size to 4 and abandon it, and rebuilt it.=my ships are gone and my colony too "OF COURSE IT IS"

Now here I am stressed mind and eye with my ships I ordered. and my max out colony that can and will crash my game again someday.
I ping this distress call because I want to know why and I don't like it when one misclick will crash my game. Does anyone have any idea of why this is the thing?
