The sprites are free to use so people can re-add them themselves if they wish.

I just lost interest in them and they'd need completely redone to match my current quality.

I found the dual mining turret once during my last play through, no idea how though.

Is there a reason the 14th maraka is worse than a 14th eagle thats 2 DP cheaper than it? I'm assuming its the built in speed but i finally found one so i was trying to build it out expecting a faster dom with maybe less hardpoints but it's seemingly worse in most stats compared to other ships near its DP cost(22). I'm about to finish the gate quest and start some serious exploring so i'll give it some battle testing but off the bat its giving me falcon vibes for far more DP spent.


Maraka doesnt compete with the eagle tho, it competes Dominator itself, slap thrusters/injector and you get just wee slower ship with extra punch, it wil scale even higher with any smods and captains.

In my own balance ~ iv'e set it to 170 OP changed small missiles to mediums and gave maneuver buff  (to cap ceiling a bit added thrusters inbuilt, base adjusted a little) for 22 DP it does pretty well. Can do way more builds with it so more fun to fight it.

Quite a few ships need to be rebalanced here. After removal of OP increase from skills many ships just dont do that well, you might notice that every ship tend to lack OP for the DP you pay. Not a fan of balancing ships around player skills, makes ships in AI hands toothless and fights boring. Can smack 5/10/15/20 Op depending on ships size almost on every ship on almost every mods to match vanilla shipbuilding feel.

I know but I have no idea how to code so I can't add it myself.

Is the Terringzean supposed to only have 1600 armor? It's description talks about overlapping armor belts but it has the same armor as most other capital ships. I feel it could use some built in hull mods like blast doors to represent it being an armored beast.

What? It has nearly 2k armour? 1950.

Really? did i manage to continually get the armor D mods over multiple uses hahaha. I repaired all the D-mods but the 2 times i checked it had them, didn't think to double check the 2nd time to see if they affected armor--i think it currently has 2 of them and they both must be armor related.

I was like its so weird that this armored BB has less than the onslaught!

Yeah I figured you must've forgot dmods.

It is, stat wise, stronger than onslaught but weaker than Invictus. But it has 2k non-ablative armour so it can be quite tanky.

0.1.98.5 IS SAVE COMPATIBLE WITH 0.1.98.4 and 0.1.98.3 BUT NOT ANY VERSIONS BEFORE!

BSC 0.1.98.5


Added Haven-class Drone Tender.
Added Sturgeon-class Heavy Bomber
Added Constable (P)

Changed Shalloch Sprite, gave it custom trails and reworked its system into energy aaf.
Made Threave sprite smaller as it was quite big for a battlecruiser.

Baldric MK.II now has flare launcher instead of Burn Drive.
Terringzean small stat changes, 1950>2000 armour and 28000>30000 hull, 24500>25000 max flux.
Tungustan beam should now generate flux.
Gallivanter DP reduced by 1.
Cumulus has 5 more OP.
Killskipper, Sword, Gallivanter and Carnal (XIV) should be more rare.
Maraka is now 20 DP. 10 More OP.
Threave changed to 8 burn like other battlecruisers.
Sabot MLMS is now 26 OP, same as Cyclone Reaper Launcher.
