I really like these sprites, and how you've kept the selection small and focused. I will definitely be giving these a try!

Damn. At the risk of sounding rude, I wasn't expecting much when I first read "collection of Apogee derived kitbashes of questionable quality", but boy was I immediately proven wrong.

These look outstanding and will make a great addition to the list. Great job my dude
I second this, you should definitely give yourself more credit @Elseudo and tweak the description, these look great.

Fitting the updated Yonder and I'm happy to say I have decisions to make now. It still feels like it is a bit heavy on logistics capacity, but now I have to choose between extra fuel, storage, or high supply consumption. It's still pretty much an automatic add to any fleet with few drawbacks right now, but it's no longer immersion-breaking. Nice work!

As an explorer first, I'll give it a whirl. Sprites look cool and I've always dreamed of having Apogee-themed fleets.

Super super cute, and I've always had a weakness for exploration ships, even from EVE Online days!

I just want to add that this is on my normal mod list now, and holy moly I love the whole mod. The Epitome is wonderful (if anything I feel like it might be a bit strong in practice? My NPC buddy wrecks with it) and I like that it gives high tech another general capital option as well as another logi ship option.

I would love love love to see Nex starts with these ships. Please don't abandon the mod!

Elseudo hasn't posted since April; now I'm really getting worried this nifty mod has been abandoned. :(

Hey folks, I see some of you thought this mod was entirely abandoned. Not unwarranted considering I did drop the ball regarding both updating the mod and communicating what is happening. In short, I was kinda busy with RL stuff, and took a break from Starsector simultaneusly, making me forget that I made this mod. Oooops.

Anyway, the 1.2 version adds four Nex starts: A solo frigate, a small and large exploration fleets, and a grand fleet which features all ships added in this mod along with the Apogee. As for balance, I'll be looking into things in the future, but don't expect a quick update. Sorry :(

It's all good, I'm just glad the mod is still alive at all!

As far as balance goes, I mostly just think the Epitome needs to be a bit less stronk and the Yonder needs to be just a hair harder to use, still. The Outrider and Horizon are Fineā„¢, I think.

I see that in the same patch you increase crew requirements and added civilian hull to Yonder. The vanilla civ ships all have low crew requirement, perhaps you could tone it down?

Remember they will have militarized subsytems added to make them true(r) combat ships which will increase crew req by 100%.

This is the entire point of the Yonder, though, and the thing meant to balance it: it can do Pretty Much Everything support-wise, but you need a heck of a lot of crew in order to run all those systems.

If anything, I feel like the Yonder's crew requirement is still too low and it's still just this side of Too Good. I like it, but it does a Whole Lot.
