Hello, first post on the forum, fantastic mod, still seems to work with the new update of 0.98a-RC8(when you edit the mod's json to reflect the new version), however maybe the subject of this thread could be updated to reflect that it is still being updated and works with the current versions?
I almost thought this mod was left without support before I read the last couple pages and could see how someone who is just browsing for mods might also think the same thing by just looking at the thread name
(The mod index page also says this mod is up to date but I can see how it could easily add to the confusion)

Stellar Networks will not be updated to 0.97a. It has been a long while since I was active around here. Usual stuff pertaining to life is to blame: young children, work, and off-screen hobbies. Preposterous. Whenever I had some spare time, I'd use it on my mods and as a result, I haven't even played 0.95a or 0.96a! So I'm going to stop, and play this game for a change.
Like with all my mods, Stellar Networks is open source. The repository is archived, but anyone is welcome to fork it and publish their copy - just distinguish it somehow. A good example is Starpocalypse being adopted, and the new versions distributed under the name of Starpocalypse Revengeance.

Subject of the thread can only update author and mods but the download link on the first page is connected to GitHub and will always be up to date. Since I can't imagine playing without this mod

I decided to maintain this mod in my spare time, so if new versions of Starsector break the compatibility I will try to fix it. In case of new functionalities, if anyone wants to contribute just check GitHub page and I can help with merging and releasing updated mod. I’ve looked through the forums and haven’t found any other mod that only handles cargo and ship transfer—everything else I’ve seen includes a lot of extra features I don’t really need or want given how they change the game.
Unfortunately that mod is not maintained anymore. If anyone can and would like to help port missing features from Stellics I can help with merging and releasing Stelnet.
"a lot of extra features I don’t really need or want" - are you refering to other mods or Stelnet? We could try to make config options for Stelnet to be able to turn on and off some features maybe.
PS Mod should work just fine between Starsector RC versions, if it won't I will release a new version. I have a couple of small fixes I want to release soon.
