Let's say, hypothetically, you have a Domain Mothership in your fleet.
Now, let's also say you want to use it in your fleet, purely for the purpose of *** and giggles by having such a massive ship in your armada.
Unfortunately for you, It's a station, which means you can't control it.
Is there some setting, some file, you can edit to force it to become a ship?
If not, can you theoretically change it with a mod?
Or is it just hard-coded in the game's source code, that it will forever be a station?
*I recognize that I could, theoretically, create a mod where I make a ship that looks like the mothership, but I have *very* little knowledge of java, and even less knowledge in creating ships, and modding in general.
