Autosell button idea

Just wanted to ask this question real quick to those who have been down into the games' files before I start digging too much into trying to make my mod. Would an autosell button in the market actually work as a mod (ie. hit the button and everything you haven't flagged to keep either from a config or in-game interface gets sold)?

I think there's already a mod for that. But in the game settings theres an option to use alt key and mouseover. Its quick and feels great and I have no idea why it isn't on by default.
