See now this is what I mean with getting in the way, medusa ass raping medusa, and me hitting my own frigates. Pesky little things, always exposing their engines to me.

Why yes I do take down paragons with wasps. What?

What's this? Wasps inside your shield? WHAHAHA! Eat hot lasery death!!

Go my little miracle workers!!

Usually its much more chaotic then this.

Nothing I love more then those light-shows, you just can't go wrong with energy weapons I say. What do people see in those other weapons?

Yeah I found that out by accident.

I usually don't put wasps into battle against the tri, they are useless against all those shields and beam weapons, but the paragon is so big they just flight right throe the shield and assault it from the inside. It can only lose at this stage. Of course that does take forever. They mostly just tickle it to death.

Three or so wings of Wasps will keep nearly any ship's PD busy; probably the ship best-built to handle an onslaught like that is the Onslaught (see what I did there?) equipped with some Flak Cannons.

Yeah, wasps are kind of useless against those, found that out the hard way. Poor wasps. Took my revenge though, bye bye six Onslaughts, death by beam.

Dear Alex, would it be at all possible to tone down the bloom? It has begun to hurts my eyes after a certain point.

The battle station is not completely operational, shall we say.

"Now witness the firepower of this thoroughly buggy and unoperational batt... Oh, hell, you know what? Just ignore the battle station, okay?"

It gives you a reason to point your camera away from the nuclear bloody fireball. I guess it's realistic.

Flak, love it. Set the damage down, turn the fire rate up, and increase the blast radius for best results.

Flak is truly epic. Miss? Don't worry, you'll splash your enemy to death.. And get around his shield too :D

But why a tachyon lance? Cost so many points! The Apogee doesn't have that many to begin with.

I can't see putting a HIL there if that's what you're implying Vandala. It's that or a plasma cannon, imo.
