SSLHandshakeException?

Hey! Up until yesterday, i've been getting an error in the Nex version checker claiming an HandshakeException? It claimed it was unable to verify my version of SS! I'm not too sure where to go with this. I tried to reinstall the mod, with no success. Any advice?

Edit: Realizing now I likely posted this in the wrong place, and being new, an not sure how to delete it. (sorry about that.)

got it too. there may also be a problem with bitbucket again, as all mods using it cannot check to update too.

Same here, likely a bitbucket issue that will soon get resolved.

It will not get resolved - Bitbucket just intentionally dropped support for some insecure ciphers (and those left seem to be unsupported by Java 7). See https://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=8181.msg297230#msg297230 for details.
