Ability to colonize the entire known universe
« on: July 31, 2020, 07:11:47 PM »

I want to colonize everything. I been thinking of how to do this with mods and came up with a few ideas:

1) Single planet admin converted to Single Star system admin. The colony screen but it the entire system. Industry / Size is limited to planet size but the time to build said industry takes the planet hazard time original to complete.

2) CEO Admin: An admin that is a CEO similar to other faction, that is in charge of 1-5 colony - have it own skill tree.

3) Get rid of colony admin limit.

You can already colonise unlimited number of planets with alpha cores.

Last time I tried this, the stupid Hegamon faction came and claimed all my AI cores.

When you open the intel entry for AI inspection, you have the option to either let them proceed, bribe them or resist the inspection, though the last one is basically declaring war on Hegemony.

NEX seem to have some interesting mechanics for this, letting your colonies become autonomous (basically just giving you money each month). As well as increase the number of planets you can rule yourself. Also, the invasion mechanic in it is really neat :D

If you are not hostile with Hegemony, bribing is the least painful and most convenient way to go to get them off your back.  That said, if you want to colonize the whole sector, you probably want to colonize all of the core worlds too, which means killing everyone in the sector... and no more Hegemony to torment you.  (Instead, you are constantly tormented by pirates once you are the only one left.)

The biggest obstacle of colonizing the sector is the time needed to farm Ordos after Ordos with Radiants for drops.
