No news on proper .98 update? Sad, I'm holding off on starting a new campaign cuz I assume the .98 port above won't be compatible with the proper larger update

Worth mentioning that the crisis needs adjustment as it seems to always default to "extreme" danger regardless of colony size or other factors.  Having heavy industry at all makes threat go from "low" to "extreme" with nothing in between.

is that the one that had the absolute flustercluck with an unacceptable percentage of the moderators actively supporting/endorseing putting savegame-destryoing kill code/malware into mods,AND that whole mess with going mouth-frothingly insane at a youtuber,
 or was that a different (hopefully now dead) discord?

ive been seeing mention of a lot of "discord-only" mods the last while,
but knowing that at least ONE big unofficial Starsector server is/was being run by legitimately crazy people has made me,
nervous about looking at anything that isnt on the forums here...

From what I've seen of Corvus, crash code is cringe.  It's mostly to do unofficial patching/content expansions beyond what an individual modder may give approval for (Eg. Mayu's Sephira Conclave, whomst also maintains some of Soren's old mods before he got banished).

Last I heard, the server that endorsed the crashcode (and still does), and seethed at the youtuber is the Unofficial Starsector Chat (USC), not Corvus. But I don't care about community drama enough to check.

I really like your mod and know it's not compatible with saves, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Need to recompile the mod/jar for java17 for it to work, there person on Kaysaar discord named Uxie who has it or as other people said Corvus discord also has recompiled it
