Game does not start

Purchased yesterday. WIN10. All drivers are up to date.
Starsector does not start at all ..

I already uninstalled and downloaded/installed new twice. I tried running as admin.

What am I missing. Help please.

Edit: I did not install to C: but another (gaming) folder. Maybe that is causing the error?
