Hi - quick question, are you on OS X? The log file doesn't get generated there and the only alternative is to run it from Terminal using starsector_mac.sh, which gets you the log in the command line output.

Otherwise, that'd be strange. On windows, you could run the game using starsector.bat, though, and that'd output the log in the command line window as well, but the starsector.log file should be there. Is it possible windows explorer is set to hide file extensions?

MacOS has log files; they pop up in Starsector.app/logs, just right-click and select 'Show Package Contents...' I was just using the log today, so it should work fine.

Oh, really? ... hmm. I wonder if something changed or if I never noticed them going there. Good to know, regardless - thank you!

Steiner Foundation is not updated for the current version of SS. Also one or more of those mods also likely needs LazyLib to run.
