Thanks! There's quite a couple to make since I've got a pretty big scope for the update, big enough to make it a 0.3 update.
I wish I could say "expect it soon" but there's a lot of work to be done before it's ready. I want to set the bar of quality higher for myself as well as add some content/features beyond just ships. I want to keep it a surprise for now so I can't tell much else - just be ready to see a couple of surprise.

A minor hotfix for a hard crash when used with Vayra's Sector.

FYI. I came across a crash with the bounty fluffships_centrist_odyslaught calling on portrait_30.png when I was testing compatibility with BountiesExpanded - Version 0.3.3C from discord on my mod.

Feedback on Custodian; it’s a bit slow for a high tech ship which makes sense with its defensive nature, but it is a bit fragile, might be the low armor or flux value, in battles my custodian would often be the only casualty, despite attracting little heavy attention.

The Excursion-class ship has a weird 1 flux/damage shield which is uncharacteristic for high tech ships. High tech ships shield coefficient usually vary from 0.8 to 0.6.

The Firecrow's Strafe Drive says it prevents use of shields but does not actually prevent use of shields.

Bit of a late reply but if anyone wishes to know in the future:

I want to go back to working on this mod someday for sure, but life has been keeping me busy. The last couple of years I was busy with an internship and struggling to finish university, now I'm currently working a job in game development that's been taking up most of my creative energies. It's... still a bit of a learning experience, but hopefully I'll eventually get into enough of a groove to have the energy to pursue more creative hobbies in my free time.
I definitely don't feel good about leaving this mod to rot considering the wonderful sprites people in the discord community have made for me that I haven't implemented yet. I do not like wasting other people's kindness.
We'll see where life takes me.
