Graphics won't show

Hi !

Weird problem here. Whenever I start the game on my laptop the icon shows up in the bar on the bottom on the screen. The java process also starts in Task Manager. But....the graphics won't show on the screen. No window with the game at all. I only see my desktop, where I can freely click the icons as if I didn't start any program. When I hover over the game icon in the bottom bar it only shows greyish, empty window. I have started the game with the bat file, here's the output I get:

I have tried to launch the game as admin. Also upgraded my java. Tried to tell my NVidia driver to use Intel graphics. I have Nvidia Gforce GTX 1050. The problem is isolated to my laptop, as on my desktop computer everything works properly. Has anyone else got the same issue ? Am I missing something obvious ?

Hi - hmm, that's an odd one. A couple of things to try/check:

1) Are your graphics drivers up-to-date?
2) Are you running any other software, in particular anything to do with video capture?
3) Any anti-virus you've got might be worth trying to temporarily disable to see if it makes a difference.
4) Have you tried rebooting? I mean, that's kind of the old standard, but it still does help with things sometimes, so I've got to ask.
