Help! Mods aren't appearing in the launcher

Help! I just installed some more mods in the game. Almost all of the new mods aren't appearing in the launcher.
(I have all the libs correctly installed)
Last time I downloaded mods was with my last pc. I transferred all the files to my current PC and everything worked perfectly.
 I extracted them in to an seperate folder and then moved all then to the starsector/mods folder.

Did I do something incorrectly?

Make sure your folder structure is such that you have a path
mods/[mod name]/mod_info.json
and not
mods/[zip name]/[mod name]/mod_info.json
