Take a look and grab a copy for yourself!

Do not hesitate to create and distribute updated copies if this data becomes severely outdated!
All I ask for is credit for the formatting and the initial data I entered
(if there is any of those two left in future copies, lol).

Since I started playing this amazing game a week ago, I was surprised I couldn't find a chart where your could sort and/or filter all the weapons by certain values.

So I made my own!

There are two sheets available: One with just vanilla weapons, and one that includes all the weapons of these mods:
- Disassemble Reassemble
- Hazard Mining Incorporated
- Scy
- Stop Gap Measure
- Tiandong Heavy Industries
- Underworld
- Vayra's Ship Pack

Hopefully, this will help some of you guys get to the information you want quicker.

Let me know if your see and errors or have issues with it.

Can only be found on a Piranha Bomber. It's not a weapon that a ship can equip.

It looks like the chart brings up more questions than answers. How is it that so many weapons don't have DPS or sustained DPS ratings? Same with Flux per second/sustained? Some of the weapons don't have damage values at all. Is flux-per-damage a special modifier on top of the normal damage type rules, or does it override the damage types?

There's plenty of good information of course. But frankly, I'm not really sure how to read this at all.

If you can get them, you can put them on small ballistic mounts. The problem is the only way to get them is from tech mining AFAIK. Which is probably a bug, but... *shrug*

Yeah so I'm not very clear on these numbers either, but I'm assuming:

- Just DMG No DPS Weapons are mostly missiles. Since there's no guarantee how many missile will hit a target, there is no solid Damage per Second.
- No DMG Just DPSs Weapons are mostly beam weapons. Since it's just one solid beam of damage, there is no damage per projectile to pull a base damage number from.
- I've never had a solid grasp on DPS vs Sustained DPS, but I'm assuming someone out here can explain it to us.

You can access the CSV file that the game uses to give weapons their stats using excel (which is probably why no one has made their own file). In that file, the dps column is used exclusively for beam weapons, and all other weapons have a damage stat (which is the damage per shot). Then there are a couple numbers that determine how the weapon fires in time,  chargeup/down and burst size/cooldown.

The dps stats in the in-game weapon descriptions are calculated as the the damage of one firing cycle over the time for one firing cycle using the values in the CSV. For a single shot weapon, that's the damage of a shot over the time to fire one shot (including charge up and charge down). Sustained dps and burst dps are only calculated for burst weapons. Sustained DPS is the damage of one burst dived by the time to fire the burst including the delay between bursts. Burst DPS is the the damage of one burst divided by the time to fire the burst excluding the delay between bursts.
